An outage is stressful enough. Your status page should be the calm part.

Short sentences, clear times and one place to look. Tidepost keeps the page plain on purpose.

Check for card payments in Tidepost: response times from three regions over six hours, with a spike above the 4 second timeout in two regions during incident 218 and no failures in the third region.

Uptime checks

An incident opens only when two regions agree.

Tidepost checks every address once a minute from three regions in the European Union. One slow request is not an outage, so nobody gets woken up for a network hiccup.

HTTP, TCP and heartbeat checks with your own timeouts and expected answers.

Response times are kept for two years on every plan.

We stopped arguing about who posts the update. The person on call writes one sentence and it reaches everyone who needs it.
