Once you sign it, you usually give up the right to bring most claims later, so read it slowly and ask questions first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The date your employment ends and your last pay<\/li>\n\n<li>The amount, and whether tax is due on it<\/li>\n\n<li>A reference you can live with<\/li>\n\n<li>What you may say about the agreement afterwards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many employers pay part of the fee for independent advice on the agreement.
