Documentation

A small studio that prefers fewer, longer projects over many quick ones.

We were founded in 2012 by two editors and a developer who were tired of watching good publications disappear behind slow, fragile websites.

Since then we have worked with museums, foundations, regional newspapers and a handful of companies that care about how they sound. Each client gets the same people from the first workshop to the last bug fix.

We take on six projects a year. That limit is deliberate: it leaves room to read every draft, test on real devices and stay available after launch, when most of the useful questions come up.

If your next project needs patience more than speed, we would like to hear about it. Tell us what you are planning and we will reply within two working days.

Everything a publication needs, from the first sketch to year five.

Six services, one team. Book them together for a relaunch or one at a time when a single part needs attention.

Editorial strategy

We map what you publish, who reads it and what should change. You get a plan your team can follow without us.

Design systems

Type, color and spacing defined once and used everywhere, so new pages look right on the first try.

WordPress development

Block themes and plugins built on core features, kept lean and documented for the people who maintain them.

Accessibility reviews

Manual and automated checks against WCAG 2.2, with fixes ranked by how many readers they help.

Performance tuning

Faster pages through smaller images, fewer scripts and caching that survives the next plugin update.

Care and support

A fixed monthly plan for updates, backups and small changes, answered by the people who built the site.

Changelog
